Tip Out Bins / 9 / Grey

I ordered 2 of these along with several other accessories for my newly installed slatwall. As with the tool magnet, these bins are not specifically designed for the slatwall. Therefore, rather than having the solid mounting that most of the other accessories have, you must install the accessory brackets. These bins were instead designed to be screwed directly to a wall/stud. Therefore, the mounting holes for the brackets are not well placed nor solid. You must also be very careful how you install the brackets to ensure the mounting screw does not interfere with the opening/closing of the bins. Also, since the accessory brackets only mount to the top, there is no lower connection to the slatwall. Therefore, it is only the weight of the bins that really holds this to the slatwall. Therefore, I believe these will fairly easily fall off the wall in a moderately sized earthquake (a somewhat common occurrence here in California). Otherwise, the bins tip smoothly. In addition, there are slots on the top and bottom if you want to connect two or three together (and therefore you can use only 1 set of accessory brackets). Overall, these will prove to be useful, but I do wish the mounting was better designed to utilize the standard slatwall mounts rather than the add-on accessory brackets.
